RADAR: Robust and stochastic backup system for medical data

Challenge

Objective for the end-user: to have a secure backup system easy to use and ready to deploy without computer science knowledge.
Scientific objective: possibility to compile anonymous statistics about patient.

An easy installation for both linux and mac.
A secure peer-to-peer backup system.
A stochastic algorithm allowing the system to be used on instable and unsafe network.
A web site available to visualize vital informations.

The project is divided into three parts.
The backup system, the simulation part to check the validity of the core system and a web site that permit the administrator to have a simple visualization of the running system.
All of them are based on the python language used with a small set of basics libraries.
The web site is implemented with a Django backend and HTML/CSS templates for the frontend, authorising a compatibility with a large amount of web browser.
