Research

My subjects of interest are complex systems. They are part of a multidisciplinary framework with practical applications. My current research focuses on neural networks (deep learning) and parallelism (massively parallel implementation on GPU cards).

Administrative responsabilities

  • Coordinator for the development of the new license-master's degree programs under the four-year plan (89-91)
  • Follow-up of contracts during my delegation to the Joint Research Center of the EEC Establishment of Ispra (91-94)
  • Member of the Commission of Specialists (until 2000)
  • Responsible for the computer license (now L3), member of the Educational commission (2000-05)
  • Correspondent Apogee ie taking charge of the modeling and the entry of diplomas of the mathematics-computer sciences departement (2013-15)
